Thumb Swyper for BlackBerry Being Submitted to RIM for release today!

Percunia Games is announcing its first game, "Thumb Swyper"! It is pending release at BlackBerry App World (version 0.0.1 submitted). It is a game that was made from scratch for a touch screen, to be used with one thumb while you are in line or in a waiting room. Though simple, there is something satisfying in lightly dragging your thumb in an arc and sucking up a wave of tree-seeking stars!

So save the trees this holiday season! With only your thumb.

This is just the beginning, the game will be growing over the coming months.

The app was written using Marmalade Quick :

If approved, Thumb Swyper would be the first Quick app for sale as far as I know!

Marmalade Quick is currently in beta. It is Lua and Cocos2d-x based, and allowed me to port an app I started writing using another Lua-based app builder, Gideros Studio , without too much effort. Look for a variant of Thumb Swyper on the Apple app store and Google Play sometime soon!

Many thanks to Marmalade and RIM for this opportunity! Link soon, hopefully.

*some day soon!
