Thumb Swyper pre-release 0.0.6

Thumb Swyper is pending review. Due to the holidays it is taking a little longer. Everyone deserves time off! Lord knows Apple's app store shuts down for much longer. I couldn't finish it in time to get it in sooner. Darn.

Thumb Swyper

Look for this icon soon!
Thumb Swyper has been updated so that it isn't so easy-- a bug in the original version never increased the difficulty beyond the first wave! Now difficulty increases with each wave.

Speaking of waves, now you can keep track of the wave you are on. That way when the game ends, besides getting your score total, you can see how many waves you made it through.

As the waves get higher:
  • stars get faster
  • stars get smaller
  • stars are spread further apart, and
  • stars increase in number!
Hopefully it is not too hard! Even though the difficulty increases linearly, for some reason around wave 8 it seems to jump in difficulty to a whole new level.

(The stars are coming from the tower on the left in these screenshots, and fly up and to the right towards the trees. Sometimes the stars come from the tower on the right, and go up and to the left. We hope to post a video soon to make it more clear what is going on.)

Help us make Thumb Swyper even better, by leaving us feedback.

When you can finally play it that is! Watch this space!
